The Miracle Field + Kiwanis Miracle Playground at Olsen Park 

The Miracle Field and Kiwanis Miracle Playground at Olsen Park was constructed by ACCESS of Wilmington in 2013. The Miracle Field is a 33,000-square foot rubberized baseball field designed for individuals living with disabilities. The Kiwanis Miracle Playground is the largest wheelchair accessible playground in North Carolina, which has become a benchmark for accessible playgrounds across the region.

In addition to the Miracle Field and Kiwanis Miracle Playground, the Kyle Anderson Fieldhouse has public restrooms, two fully-accessible family restrooms, and fully-accessible spectator stands.

From Wilmington

Merge onto NC-132 N toward I-40/Raleigh. Merge onto N. College Road via exit 420B. Continue for 2 miles – You will pass Laney High School on your right and at the next stop light turn right onto Northchase Parkway. In .05 miles turn right onto Corporate Drive. You will see the Olsen Park sign. Enter and veer left at the fork. The Miracle Field and Playground will be directly ahead.

From Duplin + Pender Counties

Merge onto I-40 E toward Wilmington. Take exit 420 toward US-117 N/Carolina 132 N. Continue on N. College Road for 2 miles – You will pass Laney High School on your right and at the next stop light turn right onto Northchase Parkway. In .05 miles turn right onto Corporate Drive. You will see the Olsen Park sign. Enter and veer left at the fork. The Miracle Field and Playground will be directly ahead.

Please Note: There is no entry from Murrayville Road. 

Olsen Park 

The Miracle Field and Kiwanis Miracle Playground is located in Olsen Park. Olsen Park was a joint project of New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington. The park is managed by the City of Wilmington. All programming at the Miracle Field is managed by ACCESS of Wilmington.

Dogs are permitted at Olsen Park but must remain on a leash and off of the fields. Service Dogs are welcome on the Miracle Field.
