Volunteering with ACCESS of Wilmington

Thank you for making miracles happen at ACCESS of Wilmington! Our programs would not be possible without dedicated volunteers like you - please scroll below to learn how to volunteer with the program of your interest. We look forward to meeting you!

THE MIRACLE LEAGUE OF WILMINGTON

Miracle League would not be possible without wonderful volunteers to assist our All Stars at bat, help them round the bases, and cheer them on along the way! Description of each opportunity is listed below. Volunteer as an individual or with a group/organization!

Buddy: (Most Needed) Buddies are paired with participants and are responsible for helping players through the game by assisting with batting, running the bases, providing directional cues and of course motivational support! Depending on volunteer numbers, volunteers may be 1:1 with players or have multiple buddies with a single player.

Pitchers: Throw underhand to players. Each game will have a variety of players that will be pitched to and players that use a tee.

Mascot: Have you ever wanted to be a mascot? Be Homer the Miracle League Mascot for game days and cheer on our All-Stars!
